Personality: She is usually a bit quiet and reserved, and can seem uninterested in other cats. But when she warms up to someone she is loud, bubbly and energetic. She shares a close bond with the leader, and always wants to help others. However, her shyness made some cats believe that she wasn't the right choice for deputy.

Shadewing stared up nervously at the High-rock, waiting for the Thunderclan leader to announce the mentor of the new apprentice, Dawnpaw. Her paws scuffled in the dust, turning them brown. The glaring sun hurt her eyes, and she looked away, neck fur bristling. But she looked up again as she heard the Thunderclan leader speak:
"Dawnpaw, your new mentor is Shadewing. I hope she teaches you the knowledge and skill she has learnt over the years."
